I dyed these using the ice-dye method which gives the skeins a shadowed/shaded look - a dabble effect. So fun!
Polwarth wool and silk - a lovely blend that is easier on the budget than some other luxury fibers. Polwarth wool is a breed of sheep that is 3/4 merino and 1/4 Lincoln wool. It has a springy feel and the weight is thicker than sock/fingering weight and thinner than worsted.
