Colorado has many forest fires burning right now. The air is smokey and smells like cigars sometimes. It's bizarre. In the evening, as the sun is setting, everything turns golden. It's very beautiful. This colorway reminds me of that.
These skeins have a micron count of 19.5 which is so so soft along with nylon making them so strong! These skeins are great for any project; socks, sweater, blankets, shawls, everything! I love the smooth look of 4-ply sock weight, which also adds some extra strength. You’ll love these!
Color(s): golden orange, green, deep purple
Fiber(s): 80% superwash 19.5 micron merino, 20% nylon
Weight: light sock/fingering
Length/yardage: +/- 450, 100 gm
Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.
NOTE: Most tap water has a higher than desirable (for hand-dyed wool) Ph level. You can neutralize this by simply adding 2 tablespoons, per gallon of water, of white vinegar to your wash water. That will neutralize the Ph levels and help maintain the vibrant colors.
