Emma (on Willie USA)
ONLY ONE LEFT ~
This color is kind of a rusty orange, kind of a golden yellow, and kind of a mustard color. It's awesome. Check out the third photo - it pairs perfectly with Tide Pool and Hand Me My Armor, also both dyed on Willie USA.
This yarn base is 100% made in America and it's thicker, and more springy than my other sock weight bases. They are also 115 gm as opposed to 100 gm. If you like a little thicker, sturdy, crisp feel, this base is for you! Great for many project; socks, sweater, blankets, etc. I love the smooth look of 4-ply sock weight, which also adds some extra strength.
Colors: shades of rusty orange, some skeins have sections of a dark red/orange
Fiber(s): 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon
Length/yardage: +/- 434, 115 gm
Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.
NOTE: Most tap water has a higher than desirable (for hand-dyed wool) pH level. You can neutralize this by simply adding 2 tablespoons, per gallon of water, of white vinegar to your wash water. That will neutralize the pH levels and help maintain the vibrant colors.
