I made a Glacier Tunic (by Joji) in a colorway similar to this and it is my favorite garment I have ever knit. This colorway has more green, but it's similar. The black and gray give it a haunted house vibe and I am here for it! There is a colorway very similar to this on Percy DK if you're looking for a DK base. That colorway is called Dark.
This yarn base is 100% made in America and it's thicker, and more springy than my other sock weight base. They are also 115 gm as opposed to 100 gm. If you like a little thicker, more sturdy feel, this base is for you!
This base is great for many project; socks, sweater, blankets, etc. I love the smooth look of 4-ply sock weight, which also adds some extra strength.
Colors: earthy green, black, blue/purple, some gray/white possible
Fiber(s): 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon
Length/yardage: +/- 434, 115 gm
Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.
NOTE: Most tap water has a higher than desirable (for hand-dyed wool) Ph level. You can neutralize this by simply adding 2 tablespoons, per gallon of water, of white vinegar to your wash water. That will neutralize the Ph levels and help maintain the vibrant colors.
