Sagebrush

This is a tricky dye color. When I can get the color to include sage green, and this creamy slightly yellow tone, I think of my home. Sagebrush grows freely all around where I grew up.

This yarn base is 100% made in America and it's thicker, and more springy than my other sock weight base. They are also 115 gm as opposed to 100 gm. If you like a little thicker, more sturdy feel, this base is for you!
This base is great for many project; socks, sweater, blankets, etc. I love the smooth look of 4-ply sock weight, which also adds some extra strength.

Colors: sage green, cream, speckles of red-orange, navy blue, brown
Fiber(s): 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon
Weight: Willie USA, sock/fingering
Length/yardage: +/- 434, 115 gm
Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.

NOTE: Most tap water has a higher than desirable (for hand-dyed wool) pH level. You can neutralize this by simply adding 2 tablespoons, per gallon of water, of white vinegar to your wash water. That will neutralize the pH levels and help maintain the vibrant colors.
