I have used similar colorways together to make a granny square baby blanket (didn’t follow a pattern, just made a basic granny square and changed colors as I wanted) and I also used them for Joji’s Fading Point shawl. I L.O.V.E. these colorways together!
Each colorway is listed individually, so if you want a complete set make sure you add each colorway to your shopping cart.
These skeins have a micron count of 19.5 which is so so soft along with nylon for added strength. These skeins are great for items you want to have a lovely drape; shawls, blankets, scarves, sweater, cardigan, etc. I love the smooth look of 4-ply sock weight, which also adds some extra strength. You’ll love these!
DENIM: denim blue, speckles of earthy green, brown
STACCATO: tan/cream base, speckles of maroon, golden yellow, earthy green, teal
POPEYE: earthy green, cream, speckles of maroon, brown, denim blue
MERLOT: deep maroon, golden yellow, speckles of black
Fiber(s): 80% superwash 19.5 micron merino, 20% nylon
Weight: light sock/fingering
Length/yardage: +/- 450, 100 gm
Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.
NOTE: Most tap water has a higher than desirable (for hand-dyed wool) Ph level. You can neutralize this by simply adding 2 tablespoons, per gallon of water, of white vinegar to your wash water. That will neutralize the Ph levels and help maintain the vibrate colors.
