2026 Advent Calendar
The theme for the Yarn Baby 2026 Advent Calendar is literally OUT OF THIS WORLD!
I fell in love with watching the Artemis II crew travel around the moon. I have Moon Joy fever! I am pulling color inspiration for this year's advent from NASA's photos of outer space. The second photo is my main inspiration and the third photo/collage includes other possibilities.
When I look at these photos I see dark, deeply saturated tonals of black, teal, indigo, purple, and oranges. I also see lighter pastals of blue, pink, yellow and greens. I see skeins with black speckles and skeins with no speckles. Perhaps...there will be some skeins with white/undyed speckles. Hmmm...
The nitty-gritty of the 2026 advent calendar:
- 24 individually wrapped and numbered mini skeins of Lucinda DK weight, hand-dyed yarn
- A total of 1,174 yards to do with whatever you’d like. I have pattern ideas in a favorites folder on Ravelry. You can see those suggestions HERE
International orders will ship in early November. Domestic orders will ship in mid-late November. After that, send some positive shipping vibes to the USPS and UPS worker bees and cross your fingers that your order will arrive before December 1st.
*For shipping purposes, please do NOT order an advent calendar(s) along with other skeins currently listed--place a separate order for that. These calendars will not ship until late fall and will ship on their own.
