Coraline! Welcome to the Yarn Baby 2024 advent theme! Coraline is a stop-motion animated movie written and directed by Henry Stelick. The films movie color palette was greatly influenced by Japanese illustrator Tadahiro Uesugi. I will be using colors from the movie poster...SWOON! The music score is by Bruno Coulais (I LOVE the soundtrack! You should check it out).

Here's the details:
Each order will include 24 LUXURY DK weight mini skeins; 80% EXTRA fine sw merino/10% CASHMERE, 10% recycled nylon. Each mini is 49 yards - twice as big as last year. I am undecided about the delivery system...small paper bags in a box like past years? Little canvas bags hung from a rope? A reusable box with 24 small compartments? That part is undecided...

International orders will ship in early October. Domestic orders will ship in late October/early November. After that, send some positive shipping vibes to the USPS and UPS worker bees and cross your fingers that your order will arrive before December 1st.

*For shipping purposes, please do NOT order an advent calendar(s) along with other skeins currently listed--place a separate order for that. These calendars will not ship until late fall and will ship on their own.

NOTE - As you may or may not be aware, the author of this children's book has recently been accused of SA. I in no way condone his behavior, nor is he receiving any royalties from this (I'm sure he doesn't even know it exists). I personally believe in innocent until proven guilty, but I also believe SA cases can be extremely difficult to prove and the statistics are that women very rarely lie about such accusations. A man in a physical relationship with a woman 20-40 years younger than him, in her late teens/early 20s, (and often in a vulnerable position), is disgusting.
I already had 500 skeins dyed and 30% of the advents sold before the accusations came out...as a result, I made the difficult decision to continue with this theme. I won't be dyeing anymore colorways inspired by his books.
