I took this waterfall photo while visiting Iceland last winter. This particular waterfall, Gullfoss or "Golden Falls," has broad multi-tiered cascading waterfalls. It's unbelievable beautiful! In the winter, with the snow and ice over the black volcanic rock, it reflects this icy teal colorway with the darker black sections.

The sheen and drape of these skeins is GORGEOUS! Oh my heavens! If lace weight is not your jam, try holding two strands double -- it makes a BEAUTIFUL fabric!  I love a silk-blend.

Fiber(s): 75% extra fine sw merino wool / 25% mulberry silk

Length/yardage: +/- 874 yards, 100 gm

Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.
