Indigo Drift

This listing is for one set of three DK weight mini skeins; one light, one medium, and one dark indigo mini skein.

Full disclosure; These skeins were originally dyed to be part of the advent calendar, but I quickly learned indigo is notorious for being difficult to rinse completely. There was a little blue left in the rinse water and even just a little bit is enough for me to worry about dyeing 12 shades of this same color (45 times because I am making 45 advent calendars) and including them in an advent that will have yellow skeins...and yellow plus even a little bit of blue could equal green (and green is not in the advent this year). I assure you I rinsed these skeins more than I have ever rinsed any skeins...the bleeding should be minimal. It all depends on the pH balance of the water you use. Use cold water and if you notice bleeding, add a little vinegar to your wash water.

Yards: +\- 49 yards per skein, a total of 147 yard per set
Base/Weight: LUCINDA DK weight, 4-ply
Fiber: 90% extra fine superwash merino, 10% recycled nylon
Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.
