Each month I am going to pick a song that speaks to me and dye a mystery colorway inspired by that song. March JOTM is Hate Me from P!nk. People who have done something really hurtful often seek comfort by making the victim their villain. It's a way to justify their actions and make what they did look/feel OK -- to themselves and others. I've been given that title - I was made the villain to justify their actions. It's taken me such a long time to see that for what it is - a lie. I'm still trying to work through this part of healing.

Although the title of the song sounds mean and ugly, I am taking a gentle approach (look at that pink dress!!) Being able to SEE what happened was not your fault, never was, and never will be...feels like taking all that weight that others put on your shoulders, dropping it on the ground and walking towards the light and beauty that is THE REAL you. There will be black speckles - that's the weight. There will also be light and beauty.

Pick the yarn base/weight you'd like, the number of skeins, and wait for the surprise yarn/colorway to arrive in your mailbox sometime in late February.
