Marilyn Monroe

2 huge skeins available ~
I didn't used to like any shade of pink, but whenever I wear this color people tell me it looks good on me. Plus, it's my son's favorite color so it was grown on me.
I didn't offer a bulky weight yarn for a few years. But now, as the weather gets cooler, I really wanted to be able to make bulky beanies or sweaters -- something that is thick, quick, and super cozy. This new base fits the bill. These skeins are BIG yarn babies weighing in at 250mg (regular size skeins are 100gm), with lots of spring to them. I really like this base.
Colors: shades of berry pink
Yards: +\- 310, 250 gm (10 ounces)
Weight/Base: bulky weight, Merlin
Fiber: 100% superwash merino, 20.5 micron count (the lower the number, the finer the wool. 20.5 is next-to-skin soft)
Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.
NOTE: Most tap water has a higher than desirable (for hand-dyed wool) pH level. You can neutralize this by simply adding 2 tablespoons, per gallon of water, of white vinegar to your wash water. That will neutralize the pH levels and help maintain the vibrant colors.
