Thunderbolts & Lightning

7 available ~
I found this amazing photo of a lightning bolt in a cloudy sky. I thought I could match the purple color...but I missed the mark. I think it would have worked on a thinner yarn base, but worsted weight yarn requires more dye and this dye turns more of a blue color when its saturated. So...not quite what I envisioned, but still very pretty. I really like the peek-a-boo bits of white.
Wilma Worsted - This has been my go-to worsted weight yarn for nearly a decade. It's one of the first yarn bases I ever dyed. It's versatile, springy, soft and durable.
Colors: midnight purple/blue, black, grey, white
Yards: +\- 210
Weight/Base: Wilma, heavy worsted
Fiber: 100% superwash merino
Care instructions: Superwash wool will not felt in a washing machine (do NOT dry in a dryer). However, I still suggest hand washing, lay flat and shape to dry.
